Summary/Objective
The assembler performs work-station or line-assembly operations to produce furnaces, heaters and sub-assemblies by performing the functions noted below. The Assembler must work to develop proficiency in a majority of the required tasks in their discipline and regularly, willingly and often without prompting, exercise their abilities to perform whatever task is required of the day. Assemblers communicate with co-workers and actively seek to help others when time allows. Assemblers maintain a safe, organized and clean work environment and will be known as; quality driven and team oriented.
Essential Functions

- Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
- Operates simple metal fabrication tools.
- Performs carpenter-related work.
- Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes.
- Operates fork lift as required.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The position requires frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling objects that are 85 pounds or heavier with assistance.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Sunday through Thursday, 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m.

No travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience
Minimum one year of related experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Two or more years of related experience.
